Victoria University's world-leading researchers are available to supervise successful graduate research scholarship applicants. We will help you become a research-qualified professional.

We offer scholarships for tuition fees and a living allowance (stipend) to assist graduate research students with the costs of their study.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit with preference given to students undertaking projects in:

  • one of our areas of research priority (see on this page)
  • areas relevant to the research being undertaken in our research institutes and centres
  • projects supported by industry partners or part of externally funded research programs
  • Moondani Balluk research scholarships, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and research using the Foley Collection.

You may be eligible for a graduate research scholarship while you study.
