Following the overwhelming success of the revolutionary VU Block Model with undergraduate students, we have rolled out the Block Model to our postgraduate courses.

This course is delivered in eight-week mode, which means you study two units (subjects) at a time over eight weeks (or one unit at a time over eight weeks for part-time study), rather than juggling several units at once. And with its focused timetables and smaller, collaborative classes, VU’s Block Model gives you more time to connect with your peers, lecturers and industry partners, helping you to build strong professional networks.

The VU Block Model has improved our student results and engagement, and has won multiple international awards for innovation and excellence.

With VU’s Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, you will learn how to apply up-to-date business and technology trends to real-world problems.

Many of our lecturers work in the industry. We also have strong industry partnerships with businesses such as Linfox and SAP. These keep our course relevant, and give you valuable work experience.

During your study, you’ll have the chance to learn from global and local organisations in SAP-related roles, and gain authentic experience in analytics, business intelligence and other ERP areas.

Our current SAP project-partner organisations are multibillion-dollar companies:

  • AusNet services - owners and operators of the Victorian electricity transmission network
  • O-I Glass - the world's leading glass container manufacturer.

Our graduate business college has its campus in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, making it easy for you to study, even if you’re working full time. Many of our post-graduate students are already immersed in a career, and we make it our job to create a study environment that suits them well.
