Victoria University began its life as Footscray Technical School in 1916 when the 'Door of Opportunity' was opened to students from the greater western suburbs of Melbourne.

VU still prides itself on opening that door as the University of Opportunity and Success. We welcome and encourage participation by our alumni community in a wide range of activities, events and programs aimed at ensuring our diverse student population is given every chance to thrive.

Whether you're looking for a way to share your time and talents on campus or closer to home, find your inspiration right here.
