Victoria University has campuses in the heart of Melbourne city, and in Melbourne's cosmopolitan western suburbs. We also have a campus in a vibrant, central area of Sydney and in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley.

VU's campuses are easily accessible by public transport. The VU shuttle bus will take you between the campus and train station at Footscray and St Albans campuses.

You'll get hands-on experience in your area of study: Our nursing students get practical experience in simulation labs, our engineering students in high-tech testing facilities, and our music students in recording studios.

Footscray Park campus is home to VU’s A$68 million exercise science and sport science laboratory precinct, which is used by students, professional sports teams and leading researchers.

Melbourne city

Our City Campus is surrounded by the gorgeous laneways and bustling streets of Melbourne's legal precinct and central business district (CBD).

The convenient location opens the University to greater industry, business and community engagement.  Close to multiple public transport options, the City Campus is easily accessible from all metropolitan and regional areas.

The VU City Tower is a state-of-the-art, 32-level building that embodies the campus of the future. Custom designed, student-centric spaces encourage collaborative learning and teaching. The spaces have been designed to support the delivery modes across TAFE and higher education. It is adjacent to the VU City Queen building, the home of Law School.

Footscray

Footscray is the spiritual home of VU, reflecting our pride at being a part of the multicultural and energetic western suburbs.

Our two Footscray campuses are 5km from the city, easily accessible by train, bus or tram from various areas of Melbourne.

Footscray Park Campus

Footscray Park Campus is the largest of all of our campuses, and is home to world-class sports-science facilities. It has a 25 metre x 25 metre heated pool, a fully equipped gym with cardiovascular equipment and multi-purpose aerobics and martial arts rooms.

Located next to landscaped parklands and the Maribyrnong River, this campus offers a variety of courses including business, engineering and education. It also has student accommodation and child care.

A 12-storey student accommodation at UniLodge Victoria University is located across the road from the Footscray Park Campus.

Footscray Nicholson Campus

Footscray Nicholson Campus is a relaxed and friendly place with a focus on Victoria University Polytechnic TAFE courses.

Footscray Park campus is a multicultural student hub near a riverland park

Living in our student accommodation, UniLodge (across the road from our Footscray Park Campus), you can meet people from around the world and get involved in social and academic activities.

Outer western suburbs

VU’s Sunshine, Werribee and St Albans Campuses are located in Melbourne’s outer western suburbs.

Sunshine Campus

Sunshine Campus offers building and construction trade courses in fully equipped practical-learning facilities. It also has a range of engineering courses and our Western Melbourne English Program (WMEP).

Werribee Campus

Werribee Campus has specialised facilities for teaching and research. Its major research centres include labs for water-treatment, food-science, biomedical-science and fire-safety analysis. The Campus also has childcare facilities.

St Albans Campus

St Albans campus is a hub for health and nutrition programs. It also offers creative arts and science courses.

The Campus is set in native gardens with childcare, a gym and award-winning architecture.
