Overview

The Accounting Principles Skill Set FNSSS00014 will help you develop a range of accounting and bookkeeping skills in payroll, BAS, accounts payable and receivable, accounting data entry and reporting, and data computerised accounting.

Learning from industry-experienced educators, you will develop your knowledge in the following:

  • processing financial transactions
  • preparing financial reports
  • payroll
  • computerised accounting.

This course contains the required pre-requisites to pathway into the Diploma of Accounting FNS50217.

Once you finish the course, you will be able to apply for job roles in bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable or as an accounts clerk. Or you can expand your options with further study in the Diploma of Accounting FNS50217.

In order to be issued a Statement of Attainment for the FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set, a student must successfully undertake the following unit(s): 

The FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set will help to develop a range of accounting and bookkeeping skills in payroll, BAS, accounts payable and receivable, accounting data entry and reporting, and computerised accounting.

Taught by industry-experienced educators, you will develop your knowledge in:

- Processing financial transactions;
- Preparing financial reports;
- Payroll, and;
- Computerised accounting.

This course contains the required pre-requisites to pathway into the FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting.

Graduates will be able to find job roles in bookkeeping, accounts clerks, accounts receivable/payable or further study in the Diploma of Accounting.
