Jayne Lovelock:
So I'm Jayne Lovelock I'm the Development Manager at Malthouse Theatre. VU students are really interested and engaged with industry and the work that we do.

MALTHOUSE THEATRE HAS BEEN AN ICONIC MELBOURNE ARTS VENUE FOR 40 YEARS.
Jayne Lovelock:
We really find that they're really enthusiastic to get into the kind of the nitty-gritty and the workings of how the theatre works and really committed and involved in understanding what career opportunities might be involved once they finish their degrees.
Actually our Education Manager is a VU graduate which is something we're particularly proud. All the placements that we've had come through have been really positive I think and they’ve all enjoyed their time with us at Malthouse.
The diversity of careers that you can have at Malthouse Theatre and the way that they can connect with VU and educational experiences are quite varied.
I think it's also a learning experience for me and what the VU students bring uh is a level of skills and expertise and enthusiasm to the team and that means as well as uh us learning from them they learn from us it’s a reciprocal relationship and that's something that is really fulfilling.
